About Sasha

Sasha Moravec grew up amidst the scenic countryside of Sonoma and the serene shores of Benicia, California. Raised in a family of artists, she naturally developed a passion for photography. While still in high school, she created a compelling portfolio through college-level photography courses, which earned her the prestigious Silas H. Rhodes scholarship, awarded to just two individuals annually. This opportunity led her to attend the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in Manhattan, New York, where she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography.

Upon graduation, Sasha returned to the Bay Area and began working with the esteemed architectural photographer David Wakely in San Francisco. Over the next 12 years, she honed her skills and gained extensive experience in architectural photography, working on diverse projects ranging from massive skyscraper hospitals in China to multi-million dollar homes in Marin and Silicon Valley, as well as schools, businesses, and even low-income housing and shelters for the homeless.

In 2017, Sasha resumed her independent photography career, married her husband Jason, and relocated to Napa Valley, where they now reside with their two children, Zoë and Henry. She continues to collaborate with architects across the Bay Area and beyond, bringing her keen eye and artistic expertise to a wide range of projects.
